Benchtop "BTK" Freeze Dryers

Virtis Benchtop “BTK” series Freeze Dryers were developed to meet the demand for a research Freeze Dryer that would provide a full range of laboratory processing capabilities. The compact design plus the wide range of options and accessories make these freeze dryers the most versatile available.

Standard features include:

  • Auto start-up– Activate all operating parameters in the correct sequence with one button
  • Pressure control—Precisely control the vacuum for faster freeze drying and reproducible results
  • Hot Gas Defrost– Defrost the condenser in approximately 10 minutes or less for fast turnaround of freeze drying cycles
  • Compact Benchtop Footprint– Designed to fit on a laboratory bench or lab cart
  • Wide variety of Manifolds and Accessories - to accommodate any processing requirements

The VirTis "BTK" freeze dryer features the new Sentry2.0 control system. This user-friendly microprocessor controller features a backlit synoptic LCD screen to display all functioning systems at-a-glance. An expanded alarm capability is included as standard. Sentry 2.0 also features full function control plus precise vacuum regulation, inert gas backfill and bleed system.
