Ultra Freeze Dryers

The VirTis Ultra series freeze dryer has been engineered to handle all applications from phase one research to clinical trial batches.

With the VirTis Ultra the user can specify up to 2.13m2 of useable shelf area in a footprint of just 1.13m2. The highly polished 316L stainless steel product chamber, shelves and smooth walled condenser chamber ensure longevity and best processing conditions can be maintained. Up to 15 shelves can be specified and interspacing can be simply rearranged in most models to accommodate different product containers.

Models available can provide low shelf temperatures of -70°C and condensers as low as -85°C for the most versatile operating conditions that will ensure a successfully and efficiently dried product. Condenser capacity is available in 25, 35 or even 50 litres for processing large quantities of bulk material.

The microprocessor based and highly successful Wizard2 controller is standard across the VirTis Ultra range automating the cycle and allowing storage of up to 16 different multi-step recipes. Optional Wizard2 software allows control and data monitoring via PC and creates a very powerful workstation. To meet increasing industry demands for security and increased functionality optional Allen Bradley PLC based control systems offer a variety of tools, providing easy documentation for research and regulatory body requirements to 21CFR11 standards.

All VirTis Ultra models are supplied on castors for ease of transport and site location and options also include hydraulic stoppering, cleanroom configuration and a series of methods of end point determination.
